Posisi Customer Service dan Teller di Industri Perbankan Banyak Diminati

Industri Perbankan sering dikaitkan sebagai “pabrik uang” yang memberikan kesan kemakmuran bagi siapa saja yang bekerja di dalamnya. Apalagi jika bank tersebut merupakan bank papan atas yang sudah mempunyai nama dan prestasi yang dikenal masyarakat. Nama besar bank tersebut akan memberikan prestise tersendiri bagi karyawan yang bekerja di dalamnya. Itulah sebabnya banyak anak yang lulus sekolah diarahkan untuk mengambil bidang studi perbankan oleh orang tua mereka demi memuluskan impian bekerja di bank.

Memang saat ini, pertumbuhan bisnis perbankan di Indonesia dinilai cukup pesat. Ada sekitar 123 bank di Indonesia, belum termasuk bank rakyat yang terdapat di daerah-daerah. Apabila kita melihat Karir Expo di tahun 2010-2011 yang sering diadakan di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia, bidang perbankan dan keuangan adalah salah satu bidang favorit yang diincar para pencari kerja. Buktinya adalah jumlah antrian dan lamaran yang menumpuk di stand milik bank-bank swasta, perusahaan pembiayaan sampai perusahaan asuransi.

Terkadang kita merasa bingung akan posisi apa yang cocok dengan latar belakang pendidikan kita. Tidak jarang kita temukan ada beberapa posisi di bank yang tidak mensyaratkan jurusan tertentu sehingga siapapun boleh melamar. • Pelayanan

meliputi posisi: call centre, teller, and costumer service. Uraian pekerjaan: melayani nasabah, menerima setoran/penarikan, menangani pembukaan rekening, atau pengecekan saldo.

• Marketing

meliputi bagian Funding dan Lending. Mereka inilah yang disebut Banker, orang-orang yang menjadi pemain utama dalam bisnis sebuah bank dan menjadi penyuplai dana bagi bank tersebut. Tugasnya adalah menangani nasabah, mencari dana masuk, menawarkan kredit atau produk bank, dan lain-lain.

• Operasi

meliputi processing, settlement, dan kliring. Pekerjaannya bertanggung jawab akan keluar/masuknya pengiriman uang, penyelesaian transaksi, obligasi dan surat berharga.

• Support

meliputi bagian administrasi, legal, dan credit analyst.

• Non-operasional

meliputi Human Resource Department, IT, compliance, risk management, produk. Ruang lingkup pekerjaan mereka tidak berhubungan langsung dengan kegiatan banking itu sendiri.

Untuk saat ini, posisi di bidang pelayanan seperti Bank Teller, Customer Service merupakan posisi yang paling dicari oleh para pencari kerja.

Penghasilan merupakan salah satu daya tarik utama mengapa para pencari kerja berminat dengan dunia perbankan. Apabila dilihat dari segi penghasilan, menurut hasil penelitian, standar gaji pegawai bank cukup tinggi. Perbandingannya dengan gaji rata-rata bisa mencapai 171 : 1 hingga 5 : 1. Perbandingan itu adalah rasio ketimpangan gaji antara top level dengan entry level. Eksekutif muda perbankan Michael R. Tampi, menyatakan bahwa “Dalam setahun pegawai bank mendapat gaji sebanyak 14-15 kali, belum termasuk bonus-bonus dan kenaikan gaji di industri perbankan tahun ini paling besar dibanding industri lainnya.”

Perusahaan perbankan juga biasanya menawarkan program seperti Officer Development Program (ODP),Management Development Program (MDP), Program Pelatihan Eksekutif (PPE), Management Trainee (MT) yang merupakan program pelatihan yang dipersiapkan bagi fresh graduate dan calon karyawan baru mengenai pelatihan manajemen dan seluk beluk dunia perbankan. Melalui program Management Trainee, calon karyawan akan langsung memiliki posisi setara dengan supervisor atau kepala bagian divisi tertentu dan status pekerja permanen di perusahaan tersebut. Ketika masih menjalani pelatihan, seorang calon karyawan akan menerima Rp. 2.500.000 – Rp. 3.000.000/bulannya dan setelah lulus menerima Rp.6.000.000 – Rp.7.500.000/bulan.

Equating this with the way you may think about your job, if you put “love” instead of “hate” to your job, work becomes easier for you. This will make you more productive. The company will profit more. As a result, they will pay you more. Then, everybody becomes happy.
