PT Adaro Indonesia operates under a Coal Cooperation Agreement with the Government of Indonesia which gives it the right to mine coal within its Agreement Area in the Tanjung district of Kalimantan Selatan Province until the year 2022 with Rights to extend by mutual agreement are available.
There are three deposits within the Agreement Area which contain total coal resources of 2.8 billion tones of open cut coal characterized by extremely thick seams of up to 50 meters with relatively low overburden

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma 3, Bachelor's Degree, any field with GPA minimum 3.00 out of 4.00 (Management or Secretary is preferable)

1. GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

This is Staff position for fresh graduate candidates. Training and development programs and mentoring at mine site will be provided for the successful candidate. The positions are:

a. Mine Engineer GDP (Code: ME-GDP)
b. Logistic and Quality Engineer GDP (Code: LQ-GDP)
c. Coal Technology Specialist GDP (Code: CST-GDP)
d. Shipping Program Specialist GDP (Code: Ship-GDP)

Requirements:
• Fresh Graduate from Mining Engineering (position A); Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or Metallurgy-Material Engineering (position B, C, D).

2. MINE PLAN ENGINEER (Code: MPE)

Requirements:
• Hold bachelor degree in Mining Engineering from reputable university
• Have minimum 2 years experience as mine engineer
• Possess good skill in mining software (Minescape, XPAC)

3. MINE OPERATION ENGINEER (Code: MOE)

Requirements:
• Hold bachelor degree in Mining Engineering from reputable university
• Have minimum 2 years experience as mine engineer

4. SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

Requirements:
• Hold bachelor degree in Mining Engineering, or Geological Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• Have minimum 3 years experience dealing with geotechnical engineering
• Possess good skill using geotechnical software such as Slope/W, Galena, Wedge

5. BERTHING MASTER (Code: BM)

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Merchant Marine Academy and holding ANT II (ANT I is preferable)
• Minimum 3 years sea experiences with minimum chief officer position
• Have maritime Indonesian Pilot certificate is preferable
• Strong knowledge of about international marine regulation, ISM code and ISPS code
• Good understanding on global coal business will be an advantage

6. MINING FOREMAN (Code: M-FM)

Requirements:
• Minimum diploma degree from any major (Mining or Geological Engineering is preferable)
• Min. 5 years experience as Mining Foreman or any related field

General requirements for all position:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ideally in both English and Indonesian to liaise with internal/external contacts
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Capable to work in minimum supervision, willing to work hard and under pressure, having high integrity, dedicated, and team work oriented
• Have a high commitment to PTAI standards in environment, safety, business ethic and good corporate governance
